He showed me he removed some registry and some DLL. I took my computer to some 'expert' at a store and he claimed to have removed it all. ESET has a way of blocking those redirects though and it detects the attack as a few variants of a trojan, the one that comes up the most is .Įventually this virus began to crash my browser. The fake anti virus software didn't popup anymore but then my browser keeps getting redirected. I then installed ESET on my computer and did another scan and removed all that it can (don't remember what). It told me ran some kind of reg fix script and Malwarebyte scan and it removed everything it could find. I googled and found a tutorial (I think it was on this site as well). ![]() This all started one day when a program popped up claiming itself to be "Vista Security Tool". ![]()
